The Friends financially support the Glanmore National Historic Site’s conservation, preservation, and restoration of artefacts and assist with large and small restoration projects through fundraising efforts.  Our plant sale (9 a.m. to noon) will have many beautiful perennials and annuals for your garden or balcony.  Artistic works created by Glanmore’s talented volunteers will be up for silent auction (10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), as well.

The 2024 Pickleball season at the Quinte Curling Club starts Monday,  April 29 with new pricing and schedules.  Sessions are open Mondays and Wednesdays,  10 am - noon and 6 pm - 8 pm.  Drop in games are $9 each, including HST. For keen players, an unlimited play option is available for $200 including HST.  The season will last 19 weeks excluding dates when the Club is  unavailable:  May 15, June 10, June 12, July 1, August 5 and September 2.  All participants are required to pay and sign a waiver before beginning play.  For more detailed information, click here.

The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's in Belleville will be hosted on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at Jane Forrester Park in Belleville (30 S John St). Registration opens at 9:30 am, and the Walk is from 10 am - 12 pm along the Kiwanis Bayshore Trail. Everyone is welcome to join us for this important community fundraiser.  There is no minimum fundraising amount to participate, but everyone who raises $50+ will receive a t-shirt, while supplies last. Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every second Monday (bi-weekly) at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program.
