Trinity United Church has been holding a Book Club for over 25 years. We are an informal group that enjoys reading and discussing books – primarily fiction. We meet on the last Monday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Church Parlour. At the September meeting we plan the reading list for the year. Winter months we meet by Zoom. From the group who brought you ‘Get Rhythm’,  the Johnny Cash show in 2022, as well as last year’s ‘On the Road Again’ and ‘How Sweet It Is’ we are pleased to welcome back Cliff Edwards and Artisan Entertainment. This time around, Cliff and his musician friends will share the music of Canadian artists. Our theatre is the perfect space for this wonderful, intimate concert, sharing beautiful songs from your favourites. Mini Forest Soil Preparation April 13

REAL is planting a mini forest at Corbett Park this year.  On Sat. April 13 we will be preparing the forest floor by putting down layers of cardboard, leaves, compost and woodchips.  We are looking for adults and teens (accompanied by a parent) to help shovel, rake and wheelbarrow the floor components into place.  If you can volunteer for one and a half hours, contact Dave at  thornley.j.d@gmail.com or 613-205-0320.  Can’t come?  The planting will be taking place in the fall, when we be looking for help also.  See www.REALaction.ca for more.
